A credit report is a list of all the credit accounts that you have. It gives information about the accounts, including when they were opened, if you have ever had missed or late payments, and how much you owe. If you close an account, it will usually stay on your report for 7 years.

A credit report will usually show your credit score.

There are 3 credit bureaus that maintain credit reports and give out credit scores: Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. You can request a free credit report from each bureau at least once a year through the website annualcreditreport.com. This report will not show your score, but it will show all the accounts in your name and their status.

You can also get a free Transunion credit report and score through the coaching program at Northwest Access Fund. Schedule on the website.
