Social Security has an online portal called a MySSA Account that you can use to:

• Start an application for benefits
• Submit most of the forms you’ll need for a benefits application
• See if you’re eligible for SSDI, and get an estimate of what your benefit would be
• Report income
• Find your Benefits Verification Letter
• Upload medical records and school records

We strongly recommend doing as much online as you can, including uploading forms and records.
